EXPERIENCE THE RICH HISTORY OF TEXAS

Why not learn a little about the history of the Lone Star State while you stay with us? The Bullock Texas State History Museum is the go-to place for Texas history and culture, including a variety of artifacts, exhibits, and lectures. You’ll be feeling like a Texas native in no time!
The Museum has three galleries that explore the different ages of Texas. The first-floor gallery focuses on the early days of Texas, when the land was inhabited solely by Native Americans. Experience Native American life through interactive exhibits and view the transition into the age of European colonization. The second-floor gallery looks to the early 19 th and 20 th century in the state. From the Texas Revolution to the low of the Depression era, you’ll witness the personal stories of the people and events that shaped Texas. Lastly, the third-floor gallery explores Texas in the 20 th century of Texas. You’ll learn about Texas’ rise to prominence on the national stage. Check out the AT-6 “Texan” fighter plane, Texas cattle stories, and NASA’s early command room. Everyone will find something to learn in these halls!
Admission ranges from $13 for adults to $9 for ages 4-17. Seniors, military, and college students receive discounted admission of $11. For more information, check out their website here .
