The Sunset Movie Series in Georgetown brings family-friendly entertainment to the big screen when the sun goes down. This free summer series takes place on the San Gabriel Park Soccer Fields beginning at sunset, around 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. All movies are PG, and both kids and parents will have a great time under the stars. This park features twenty-seven limestone sculptures laid out in a beautiful park atmosphere. You’ll want to wander and explore the different creations of international artists from six countries. A local artist started the park in 1976 with a call for international artists. Twenty-five of them temporarily moved to the area to participate in the experiment. Each artist sculpted limestone in their unique style. The result is a unique garden of stone figures of all shapes and sizes.
