CELEBRATE MEXICAN TRADITION AND CULTURE

While Halloween weekend brings lots of opportunities for entertainment for the whole family, there’s one festival you will not want to miss. The Sixth Annual Dia de los Muertos procession and festival honors Mexican culture and heritage, and on Saturday, October 28 th , you’ll get a chance to participate in this beautiful, colorful festival.
Dia de los Muertos is a traditional Mesoamerican holiday, honoring ancestors and the cycle of life and death. Participants in traditional, brightly colored dress and painted faces dance along the procession route, wowing with their creativity. If you haven’t seen a Dia de los Muertos procession before, you’re definitely missing out!
There will be lots of activities for kids, along with vendors for food and arts and crafts. The event takes places from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Centennial Plaza, with the parade beginning at 5:00 p.m. For more information, please visit the festival website here .
